1. OPENING Hi, this is Mia, an AI assistant calling on behalf of Bloom Events. Am I speaking with the owner or events manager? … Is now a good time for two minutes? If not: “No problem — when would be better?” Note the time and end politely. 2. REASON FOR THE CALL I'm calling because we are looking for wedding coordinators to join a small partner pilot. In short: partners receive qualified couples in their area at no upfront cost. 3. QUESTIONS 1) How many weddings do you coordinate in a typical month? 2) Which areas do you cover? 3) How do couples usually find you today? Listen fully; confirm what you heard before moving on. 4. IF THEY HESITATE “I understand.” Ask what would make it useful, answer briefly, and never pressure. If they ask not to be called again: confirm you will remove them, and do so. 5. NEXT STEP Would you be open to a 15-minute call with our partnerships team this week? Confirm the details back (date, time, contact) and say what happens next. 6. CLOSE Thank you for your time. Have a good day.
Tips for calls people don’t mind receiving
- Ask whether it is a good time before you start, and offer to call back.
- Give the reason for calling in one sentence, in the caller’s words.
- Ask open questions and confirm what you heard.
- If someone asks not to be called again, confirm it and stop calling.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a good outbound call script?
A short, honest opening, a clear reason for calling in one sentence, a few open questions, a respectful way to handle hesitation and one specific next step. Scripts guide the conversation; they should not be read word for word.
Should an AI voice agent say that it is an AI?
Yes. Telling people at the start that they are speaking with an AI assistant is good practice and required in many places. SAGOT requires every agent greeting to identify the caller as AI.
Can I use the script with SAGOT?
Yes. The opening becomes the agent’s greeting, the reason and value become its instructions and offer, and the questions become its qualification questions.
Is what I type stored?
No. The script is built in your browser and nothing is sent to SAGOT.
