Give your voice agent a real phone line

A voice agent is only useful if it can reach people where they answer: on the phone. In SAGOT, each workspace adds its own phone lines and chooses which one an agent uses. Lines can make outgoing calls, answer incoming calls, or both.

The SAGOT phone gateway

Many people only answer calls from local mobile numbers. The SAGOT gateway lets your agent call from your own phone and SIM. A small app on a nearby computer pairs once with your workspace using a code from Settings → Phone lines, then connects to SAGOT over an outgoing encrypted connection. There is no phone system to install and no ports to open. Airtime is billed by your mobile plan.

Answering incoming calls

Pick a published agent as the answering agent for a line. When someone calls, the agent greets them, says it is an AI assistant, and helps them using the same instructions, knowledge and actions as your outgoing calls. Every call appears with its transcript, recording and outcome.

Capacity and health

Each line shows whether it is connected and how many calls it can carry at once. SAGOT starts queued calls in parallel up to the line's capacity and retries unanswered calls according to your calling policy.

Can an AI agent call from my own mobile number?

Yes, with the SAGOT phone gateway. Your phone and SIM place the call; SAGOT runs the conversation. The gateway currently runs on a Linux computer with Bluetooth near the phone.

Can the same number receive calls?

Yes. Choose an answering agent for the line and incoming calls are answered by that agent.

Do I need to install a phone system?

No. Twilio and SIP lines are added with their details, and the gateway app connects outward to SAGOT, so nothing needs to be exposed to the internet.
